The Board of the Leeds based power technology Group, Winder Power Ltd, announces the appointment of Laurence MacKenzie as its Managing Director.
Laurence MacKenzie joined Winder Power in April 2011 as Business Development Director. He has considerable experience in senior roles within the power transmission and distribution industry. He lives in Greetland near Halifax.
Laurence will work with the Board to further strengthen the business and will have operational responsibility for the delivery of business performance.
Commenting on the appointment, Winder Power chairman Richard Asquith said;
“This is an exciting time for the Company. We are enjoying a very strong order book and the Board is excited about the future. In appointing Laurence to be our Managing Director we are further strengthening an already highly effective management team.
