Winder Electrical has been called upon to help out on the £100m Belfast Sewers project that will provide a modern sewerage system for 250,000 people in the Greater Belfast area.

Two 12/24MVA and two 5MVA transformers have been designed, manufactured and shipped in record time, a mere eight weeks from start to finish – a major factor behind the awarding of the contract to Winder Electrical in the face of stiff competition from both the UK and Europe-wide.

The contract was fulfilled on behalf of Northern Ireland Electricity Powerteam Electrical Services Ltd and forms the latest in a series of projects completed as a part of a three year term contract between the two organisations.
