Winder Electrical has for many years been able to offer the facility to carry out full overhauling and upgrades to customer’s own transformers on voltages up to 66kV including the following:

• On site maintenance and repairs to power and distribution transformers
• On site upgrading of radiators, conservators and forced cooling systems
• Removal and replacement of damaged/corroded radiators and on site weld repairs
• On site painting both flood and spray to customers requirements
• Replacement cable boxes and bushings
• Oil treatment including oil changes, filtration and Ilovac oil analysis covering PCB, dissolved gas and routine tests
• On load tap changer servicing
• Testing and commissioning of transformers and associated protection equipment
